"Begin today and write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies. I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to you, each other, your children, your grand-children and others throughout the generations. Remember, the Savior chastised those who failed to record important events." --President Spencer W. Kimball

A walk down memory lane...

I was putting togther a little project and I needed some of the pictures from my mission.  I looked and looked everywhere for my box of mission momentos, and I couldn't find them anywhere....I seriously started to panic and totally broke down and cried.  All I could think about was all my pictures, all my letters.....they were gone....and I was so sad.  I carry the memories, the experiences the lessons learned in my heart, but those little momentos meant so much to me and I couldn't for the life of me remember where I put that box. :(

I emailed Hermana Quinn (Melissa Snyder)....she is one of my good mission friends that I'm really close to....we spent a lot of time together on the mission and have kept in touch since being home.  We were never actually companions, but we lived together on the mission.  Thankfully, she had some pictures....and a lot of them.  I'm so grateful that she still had them!  She actually had ones that I don't even remember......and she emailed them all to me.  What a nice walk down memory lane remembering the time when I was truly lost in the service of the Lord.  Truly one of the best times of my life!

I just wanted to upload them to my blog so I never lose them again.

Mision Chile Santiago West from November 2000 to July 2002...... GOOD TIMES!

This is my favorite mission picture....it was at a transfer when we all got new assignments.  These were two of my favorite mission buddies, and we're still buddies now.

Hey, I have lots of mission pics with you in them as well. If I can get my scanner to cooperate, I'll send them to you soon.

Yay! Please do! I would love them! I don't have any from my first days there with you! Best trainer ever! :)

Glad you liked them and that I had mine close by. Love those days too. That picture of you, Griff and I is one of my most favorites too. Love you guys! I will be in Utah in about 2 more weeks. I would love to come by and see you.

OMG! I didn't know that you served in Chile. I served there as well (Concepcion). I am so thankful for the time I spent there and I know for a fact that I needed to be there when I was. At the time, Elder Holland was the Area President and so we had many opportunities to be instructed and taught by him.
