"Begin today and write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies. I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to you, each other, your children, your grand-children and others throughout the generations. Remember, the Savior chastised those who failed to record important events." --President Spencer W. Kimball

Thank you for your thoughtfulness!!!

This post is for Melissa Snyder and Weston Griffeth. Ova and I just wanted to say thank you so much for your love and concern. Thank you for the beautiful get well flowers, and for always being so concerned with Ova's health, you are so sweet and we can't thank you enough!

For those of you who don't know Ova's situation, he had been really sick lately. He was diagnosed with Lupus about a year ago and it seems to progressively be getting worse. When he has his attacks, he can't walk or even move for days...sometimes weeks. It's been a real struggle trying to figure out what causes his attacks so we can prevent them, and trying to figure out how to get rid of it when it is here. I feel bad for him because he's in so much pain, and I can't do anything about it. I took him to a kensiologist who is a doctor that studies the body in depth and believes that if the mental, structural, and chemical parts of the body are in balance, then you will be healthy. If one of those things are off, that's what causes you to be sick. He told us that Ova's spleen is not working like it should, and the function of the spleen is to circulate the blood and clean the system. Since it's not doing it's job, his liver and kidneys are being overworked and his blood is full of toxins. They gave him some herbal medicine to see if it would help. So far, it hasn't done anything. I'm just really thankful to everyone who cares and shows their love and concern for him. Thank you very much!

Getting ready for church...

Makai & Mone's cousin Joey slept over on Saturday night and these are just some random pictures of all the boys ready for church. Don't they look so handsome with their shirts and ties??

My Preschool Graduate

On May 22nd, 2008 Makai graduated from Preschool. Nodody really came to celebrate with us, just me and Tea and Filimone and my friend from work Melanie. Ova was really sick today, he couldn't walk so he didn't get to make it. We are so proud of Makai. The graduation was so cute, it was like a real high-school graduation. They wore caps and gowns and they called all the little graduates by name and they walked up and got their certificates. I, of course, cried like a baby....just so happy to see my oldest make this milestone. He's going to be starting Kindergarten this fall, I can't believe it. Here are some pictures from my proud moment...
