"Begin today and write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies. I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to you, each other, your children, your grand-children and others throughout the generations. Remember, the Savior chastised those who failed to record important events." --President Spencer W. Kimball

Graves

Today is my very first graveyard shift.  I got hired at AMRG on the graveyard shift, which is 7pm-7am.  I've been training on the day shift and have been so excited waiting for the day to come for me to start my regular schedule.  I'm a night owl.  I usually stay up until ridiculous hours on a regualr basis....and I still am able to wake up early in the morning.  I'm thinking this grave shift will be a breeze.....but I've never actually worked graveyards before.  The sound of it is appealing because if I work all night, while my kids and husband are sleeping, I'll be able to spend more time with them during the day.  I hope what I'm thinking comes true! LOL.

I started my shift tonight at 7pm....it's now 3am and I'm getting really really tired.  My eyes are heavy and I want to just lay down and sleep.....hahaha......I've been told that if we're slow we can sleep as long as we wake up when the phone rings.  I'm a little afraid of that, so I'm blogging to keep myself awake.

I hope my graveyard shift will be as great as I've planned it to be in my head!

Wish me luck!  :-/
