"Begin today and write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies. I promise you that if you will keep your journals and records, they will indeed be a source of great inspiration to you, each other, your children, your grand-children and others throughout the generations. Remember, the Savior chastised those who failed to record important events." --President Spencer W. Kimball

New Year, New Goals

I used to be so good about keeping a record of the things that happen in our family.  Lately, I haven't been very good at keeping up with that.  With a New Year upon us, it's my goal to start recording again.  I need to remember the words of our leaders when they encourage us to "keep a record" for our posterity.  I love writing, and I love even more going back and reading things that I have written so today I make a deal with myself that I will make writing and recording my feelings and our family's experiences a priority......
